Just what you need...
With our new home needing some electrical work done on it we are on the look out for someone who can do more then just the average service. We need someone that can do a number of services with the proper skill and experience that can back it up. Well, unfortunate here in Toledo we haven't found that special person/company that can harness in all that talent and deliver it to us on a last minute notice. What I can do for those of you in the Atlanta area is recommend the right business that can be at the job site in a reasonable time. Browning Electrical Services can help you in an instant with what ever situation you have. If you're in the market searching for services that cover Generators, Ceiling Fan Installations or maybe some simple Design & Planning then please contact one of their Atlanta Electrician to come and save the day as well as some money. That's right - they are offering a 10% off the work for new customers and 25% off for Senior citizens. I don't know about you but when I'm offered a discount on my order I don't hesitate to welcome it. Go now, don't wait too long...

Trying to make some extra money...
Well this morning could not of been any more entertaining. I would like to first mention that I have been collecting a lot of metal materials like aluminum cans and other aluminum items so that I can take them into the recycling center and make some money. Well I have managed to hold on to about 26lbs of cans and about 108lbs of aluminum thus far. Well after getting it all to fit in my Camry I headed out to the center - along the way I happened to meet an interesting character. The character would be an unnamed rock/boulder - it made a really close introduction by scrapping under my car and causing what was a small gas leak turn into an all out gas leak. There I was trying to dispose of all this aluminum and the smell of gasoline can be picked by everyone there which of course had to inform me that I had a leak. DUH! I finally got the cans in one bin and the other material in another.
The cans were 26lbs for a huge payout of $10 (sarcastic face of course)! The other material was not processed because since most of it looked the same the center was cautious and asked me to get a letter head from my employer (they gave me the scrapped pieces) and bring it back so that I can get payed. Now here I was with a slip to fill out and a pocket with a fresh scented $10 bill in it and a huge concern if I was going to make it to the gas station or was I going to have to hike it to get some gas. Well the car did make it to the station but not before giving me some scary moments. That's right, the car stalled twice - once at a light and the other was right before I pulled into the gas station.
I managed to coast it in right up to a pump. The smell of gasoline was of course with me when I got out to pay for some more. I put in five bucks worth in hopes that it wouldn't be on the road immediately - I was able to drop it off at Doug's Automotive on South Avenue in Toledo. There the car sits until Doug looks at it tomorrow. So what started out to be a money maker ended up being what might be a large expense. Moral of the story - don't meet any strange "characters" on your way out because it will cost you one way or another. Your best bet is to swerve away.

Before it's too late...
The title for this post can be used in so many ways but today I will be using it for the purpose of safety and precaution. How many of you out there are currently working your butts off with out any insurance to fall back on? Just as I figured - you need to first understand yourself and your surroundings before signing up for a decent coverage. Getting life insurance quotes can be easy but you don't want to go through that process to find out that you of been better off with a different plan. Look, visit the site above and research what you really need. Now if you find yourself looking like the guy in the picture above "confused" while looking online - please stop and click the link above and let them guide you to the right road.

UPDATE:
Well the pool is still filling up which I think will continue until about 9:30 or so. My two daughters were in and out of the pool while it was filling cooling off from the hot sun and warm air. Heck the dogs even joined in on the fun. We had to retrain them on how to stay afloat and paddle otherwise they (we have two dogs) will drop to the bottom like a couple of rocks. They were none too happy having to go around with wet doggy hair for about a half hour but they did have fun in the pool even though it was shallow enough for them to walk/swim around.

Needing the help and finding it...
When a contractor is needed and you have absolutely no idea what it is your looking for you might want to set aside some time with others you know and trust and form a plan before hiring a contractor. Now if you're like me and you really don't have anyone to chat with to formulate a plan then your best bet is to seek for a General Contractor that can help you out from start to finish. Seeing that I'm a 49ers fan I would like to send a some info to those of you on the west coast. Don't keep yourself in the dark and visit the San Francisco general contractor's website where they can help you from shopping for the best General Contractor to submitting a bid - place yourself on the right track instead of waiting on the side for something to happen. If this service was available for me in Ohio I would be more then happy to seek out the right channels and plan the right steps for myself. Go now and begin what you've been holding off on - you wanted help now you got it. Have fun and enjoy.
Out yesterday but in today...
I apologize for not putting something up yesterday - everything got really hectic at work so I wasn't able to put some time aside to post anything that was going on with me. Now today is a different day - woke up this morning wanting to do nothing but chill all day and do absolutely nothing. Well that lasted about two hours before I got bored and started my usual chores around the house. The one task I was not looking into starting today was the re-cleaning of the pool. My wife called me from a picnic that she was attending and asked if I could clean it because it looks like it will be rather warm the next few days.
Upon looking into the pool I really wanted to call her back and say that it was beyond hope but I didn't want this small chore hold me back from accomplishing yet another task. I managed to get it completely cleaned in about an hour and 45 minutes. Now the pool is filling up and my daughter and I are impatiently waiting to jump in and go for a nice fresh swim. I believe that my tan will be nice and dark by the end of tomorrow. Talk to you guys later.

Getting the job done...
I would like to start this post out by saying HooAhh! to my neighbor Ted. Now this man has himself one of those 1800 rpm Diesel Generators. I was so envious of this man last year because of his generator - when our town was hit by some pretty strong winds that took out most of the city in a snap. He calmly walked around his nice home and within a few seconds his home lit up like a Christmas tree. His house was the only one on the block to shine so bright. He invited us over until the power came back on but I was only able to go for a few minutes because of course my dogs had to bark at every little sound that they heard (no music or tv coming from the kids room so every sound was suspicious).
He was the talk of the neighborhood for months, heck here I am talking about that moment and we're coming up on almost a year now. I haven't had a chance to chat with the man to find out where he got his but if you're reading this and you know for a fact that no one in your neighborhood has a Diesel Generator do yourself a favor and head on out and get one. People will be talking about you for months as wellfor being so smart and getting one. Well, as for me I think something like one of those Towable Diesel Generators would suit me just fine. With a new home now it would be nice to have it around incase something goes wrong with the wiring.

85 sees a spot on NFL Playoffs...
Well well well - it looks like somene has jumped the gun and has already predicted that his team will be in the playoffs. Good ole Ochocinco (from the CINCINNATI BENGALS) has said in the middle of the teams mandatory minicamp that he feels the team will be in the playoffs this season. Seriously, this is not a mistake or a messed up post - Chad is holding within his mind the hopes of getting to the playoffs. Well all I can say is good luck with that because unless you predict my 49ers in the running as well then I'm going to have to lean over and say "Maybe next year". Okay okay I'll behave, you never know they might very well make it to the playoffs given the other teams come down with some serious illness and are not permitted to participate. Alright I'll stop it, but on the serious side - good luck to the team and hope to see another great season of NFL football.

Is this the rate I want...
In case you didn't hear - some banks need to be monitored to make sure that everything is running smooth. With a simple savings account you can probably get something in return when saving up but you want to make sure that the rate that you started with stays the same so that you don't end up losing money in the long run. Click on the link above and give yourself a quick walkthrough on finding just what you need when it comes to the right rate.
I'm still at it...
I've received some e-mails from some friends that I used to chat with at a photo blog called Photo Hunters. So to better spread the word I figured I can say it here and it should spread out to everyone (I hope). I am still taking photos of certain things weird or not, I am really falling behind on updating my photo site and for that I do apologize. I'm trying to maintain a better effort when it comes to my pictures and presentation so please bare with me. I have also received a few e-mails asking me about my style of picture taking. I found it hard to explain but I did find some information on how someone can keep themselves motivated when it comes to photography. Give it a read and come back to let me know how that went.

Had to share this moment here as well...
Yesterday afternoon my wife’s friend brought over some of her husband’s old jerseys that he no longer wanted for me to have. Well the first one I looked at was a Denver Bronco jersey I didn’t see what the name was but it looked pretty cool. The second one was a darker one - it was one of the Atlanta Falcons jersey. I was surprised that he didn’t want it anymore until I saw the name on the back.
Wait for it…
Wait for it…
You guessed it - good ole Mike Vick, at first I didn’t want it but then I told myself that I can use this on many occasions. Well for starters I can use this the next time I visit the dog pound in search for a puppy (yeah I know that was wrong) but in a way it is funny. Better yet I can wear the next time the Falcons play one of my friends’ team that way I can show up with some choke collars and wood sticks telling them that they need to get their team into shape. I plan on being booted from the party shorty after.

My cheap investment...
It's been about a month or so since I bought my 92 Toyota Camry from a friend fro $300 and as most of you know a car that only costs $300 will have some issues or something missing. Well for me it has a few things wrong with it but it's nothing I can't fix but the one thing I can't fix is the A/C. It went bad about a year ago according to the previous owner, for all I know it may need a diesel fuel pump or something like it. I'll be honest with you guys - I have no idea how the A/c works other then turning the switch from off to on that's it. I think I'll be giving these guys a call and see what they can for me because with Summer just around the corner and the car being a dark color it's only going to get hotter inside that car.

I wonder what Rush will do?
I just got an update from a news source the UNEASYsilence that has said that the popular over the counter product known as Zicam is harmful to people who use it. The main harm is the loss of the sense of smell. I'm looking into this a bit more before I say anything else because the last thing I need is a lie spread by others that might believe it. Now I do know Rush Limbaugh uses the stuff and repeatedly mentions the use of it with the swabs and stuff. I need to visit his site and see if he has any information regarding this issue. I'll keep you guys posted.

On her next trip to the North East...
I would like to get my daughter's attention on this post. Yes you Emily, on your next trip to Vermont you might want to try the Family inn Vermont instead of the usual same old same old cabin. I know that you have made the trip to Vermont each and every year so I figured you can do so but this time you might want to bring "others" with you like I don't know a family member maybe. The scenery there would be great for one of those old fashion Vermont weddings. Can you imagine attending a wedding in Vermont where the backdrop is actually a wintry scene and not some screen printed canvas. Heck you know what you might even be able to get your troops at work to have a nice Vermont meetings instead of the same stuffy conference room day in and day out. We can even plan a nice family get together in Vermont so that your siblings can get an inside view of the beautiful surroundings there. This is just a suggestion my dear, I wouldn't take you away from the warm environment that California has.

Are you kidding me?!?
The linked title above will direct you to an article I read that a woman filed a lawsuit against Quaker Oats and their name brand Captain Crunch because she thought for many years that she was truly eating actual fruit pieces in the berries cereal. Okay I know that times are tight and that this might of been an easy win given the history of some of the judges in California but come on really - filing a lawsuit because there wasn't any actual fruit in the berries cereal is just insane let alone embarrassing to her and her family. Just when you thought things can't get any more weirder poof out comes this story. Some people just need a break away from the rainbow colored pills and I'm not talking about Skittles. The judge isn't mentioned in the article but I would like to send a huge Thank You for doing the right thing and tossing this suit out the window.
Next year will be the year we do it...
With the reconstruction on our new home underway my wife and I have decided to wait until next year to have the roof redone. We are currently getting everything else done on the house because it truly needs it. Our windows, floors, bathrooms and bedrooms need some attention immediately. We will focus on the roof next year when the first stage of repairs is completely done. I did some research and I found a great company that specializes in roofing whether its replacement, repairs or some ventilation. Who are they? Austin Roofer that's who - well actually their name is Masada Roofing, Inc., they are dedicated to their work and even offer you a chance to get a quick quote over the phone by simply filling out their e-form on the front page of their detailed website. The navigation on their site is really smooth and easy to understand especially if you're new to the Internet. It would be awesome if they reached as far as Ohio but they only cover the Austin, Texas and surrounding areas for now. If they keep up the great work (which I can see them doing so for quite some time) I just might see them prop up a shop here in Toledo, Ohio. If your roof needs taken care of and you live in the Texas area then please feel free to click the link above and pay them a visit and send in your info so that they can call you immediately in hopes of getting you want you need.
In the near future...
How many of you here are Star Trek fans?
How many of you know the series really well? Well if you're still reading this you either a true fan or someone wanting to waste time and continue reading. Either way I came across an article this morning referencing the possibility of traveling in warp speed - that's right I said warp. With the way our technology jumps ahead each new year I can easily say that warp travel is n the near future. The possibiliets would be endless especially when it comes to space exploration. Could there be Star Fleet organization be forming right now behind closed doors? Who knows maybe there is or maybe the only step that has been takien in that direction is simply the theory of such an accomplishment. Given the way this world started and where we are today this future feels more possible then anything else.

One more trip...
With the summer months just around the corner I can't wait to inform my kids that we are going to Disney World in Florida. Yes I know my kids aren't really kids anymore but to me they will always be little and adorable. On our last trip to the great world of fun we encountered a local business owner that had some discount Disney tickets available if we would simply try out one of his company's time share seminars. Well after we got a complete two hour explanation on how time share works we were given four passes to the grand land of them all - Walt Disney World. The kids had their excitement meter tilting past awesome, with the repeated mention of the many rides that they will be going on. I have to admit that even my wife and I had a bit of our childhood come out knowing that we would be seeing a lot of the famous characters at the park. If you were to ask the kids what ride was their favorite you will get about an hours worth of talk and not on ride missed but if you were to ask me I would have to say that the Hall of Presidents and the Haunted Mansion were my favorites. There's nothing cooler then seeing our earlier presidents presented in such a manner. I truly enjoyed every moment of that day. The kids would love to go back but I'm going to wait just a little bit longer before saying anything. I got the inside word that Orlandofuntickets.com can get me a great deal on family packages that won't include any seminars or any hidden surprises. If you're reading this and are looking to visit the Grand Park please go to orlandofuntickets.com and get yourself a great deal for yourself or for the family.

Vikings might get a Favre...
With today's opening lines displaying that Brett Farve might return to the spotlight of the NFL with quite possibly the Minnesota Vikings simply brought one thing to mind - Brett, would you please pick a team and stick to it. You are a great athlete no questions asked but this hopscotch endeavour that you have started doesn't look good for you and whatever image you have left. If in fact you do fill that spot with the Vikings then congrats but if you are already planning on jumping to the next square before your first foot settles in then please stay retired. The last thing the fans in Minnesota want is someone that came and went without trying it out a bit longer. Stay healthy bro and please follow through with what ever decision you present.

Just for you...
Okay - the following post will be totally dedicated to my cousin in Florida that couldn't leave me alone this past weekend. I spent at least three hours with her on the phone trying to explain to her that she needed to do an in depth search on what doctor she will need when going for that "special" surgery. I told her that she might have to do some traveling if she is too find skilled surgeons that can perform what she needs. I found out that San Diego Plastic Surgeons can do the job for a reasonable price so I shuffled that info over to her. I even told her that she can stay with my step-daughter in California while she was there for her surgery. Please, if your reading this and you're looking into some plastic surgery do yourself a huge favor and find the right doctor that can do just that and not charge you an arm and a leg (figuratively speaking that is).

Laimbeer seeking job in the NBA...
I found this to be a bit of a shocker (no pun intended) when I heard that Bill Laimbeer resigned as head coach of the Detroit Shocks. Bill has gained three titles in a period of six seasons so to hear him talking about entering the NBA sector was surprising especially given the fact that the last time he tried this it didn't work out so good between himself and Isiah Thomas of the Knicks. I hope he finds a good nest to chill in - it would even be nice to see him sign up with the Baby Bulls and see what chemistry he can add to those you guys.
The gear that works...
This month is definitely the month - especially if you are into paintballing. I haven't paintballed in about a year or so, I am looking into getting back into shape and signing up to the local club and begin my retraining in having some good ole fashion fun. Now in order to do this I would have to supply myself with the right gear that both protects me as well as gives me that sweet look of coolness. BDU pants would be a great start especially if you get yourself some black ones like I am. The one feature that I believe is the one that stands out the most is the reinforced seat and knee patches. These two sections are the ones to go first especially if you are a true baller. Check these out today and don't wait too long you might be a bit late if you wait.
Not a done deal yet...
This past weekend was a bit of a stir in the world of sports especially when it comes to basketball. With the Lakers taking in a fourth title the NBA world had rumors that Shaq might be heading out to Ohio to join King James' court. That would be a great thought especially if these two powerhouses get together and get the job done. If the Cavaliers were able to get as far as they did this past season with their current squad you know that next year will be an awesome one to watch. Well that dream might have to be placed on the top shelf of the locker room because from what I read in this [article] it looks like there might be some hurdles to go over first before Shaq can even think about jumping to the midwest. Let me know what you think.

Anything is possible...
With the remodeling of our new home underway we could use some rustic furniture to with the 1902 home. The image you see to the left is that of an Eastern Red Cedar Sofa Table, as you can see it truly does look rustic and would definitely bring out the charm of any home. I can easily see myself checking out the rest of their product line and finding the perfect sofa and couch match to with the table. I'm going to let you go now so that I can do just that - so if you are done visiting here please follow me to ScenicFurniture.com and see what might end up in your home.
Congrats to Phil...
You read the title just right. I want to send a big CONGRATS to Phil Jackson for accomplishing one of the most wanted achievements in the world of basketball. What's that you ask? - Well, before Phil received his fourth Lakers Championship Trophy he had himself about six others from the great city of Chicago where the Bulls rule of course and the fact that they're my favorite team. My hat goes off to his crew that made who the Lakers are today. I knew that as soon as Kobe got his fourth title people would start to compare him to other players that have four titles as well. The following article is of course what I predicted [Article Link] brought to you by CBSsports.com. Now the good man Jackson can walk around with each of his fingers and two thumbs extended out to show all his great achievement. Once again congrats to you and the Laker franchise.

I'm really trying, seriously...
The past few months have been brutal for me because I see my wife making some remarkable dinners and all I can assist with is "Can I open the can of corn?". I have been looking throughout the web searching for that one site that can bring me up to a respectable standard, especially in the kitchen area. Okay I have to confess, this site was recommended by a friend of mine but I will not reveal her name even if you think it's my sister. Cooks.com is the place to go to try out new recipes and to share ones of your own as well. Give them a try and you just might be as cool as my wife or maybe a little average like myself.
