This picture was taken by my wife during a Dragon Boat event here in Toledo. Although the dragon head looks happy, he is unaware of the countless amounts of rookies who are going to paddle the boat that will he will be placed on, so this shot may have been the last moment this guy felt happy.

I loved dragon boat races when I lived in Long Beach, CA... we had a big event in Long Beach every summer, and more dragon boat racing at the Lotus Festival in Los Angeles Echo Park.
Now that I'm in Albuquerque (and there is no place to race dragon boats) I am really missing it.
I never heard of dragon boat races; but this dragon looks ready to rumble!
