I seem to remember not too long ago how some people were ok with passing a sin tax on both alcohol and tobacco.
Well let's be glad that that deal didn't go through otherwise we would of seen a pretty nice drop in funding for the arena, but wait now the solution is to tax motels and hotels.
Someday we'll get this funding issue straighten out.

Some day the politicos may figure out that we will tolerate only so much taxes before we revolt.
Hey, maybe if more people paid taxes the burden would be shared more fairly.
Nah, it's much more fun to excessively tax the earners and achievers and continue to ride the gravy train.
I'd like it much better if only those who are expected to pay the taxes got to vote the taxes up or down.
Those that never expect to pay the taxes are always in favor of the them...
