My apologies...

I am sorry that I have not posted something in the past few days. I have been feeling a bit under the weather and it didn't help that I had some issues with my PC yesterday. Well to be honest, my PC had been acting up for about a few months now. I would repeatedly get an error message that would prevent my PC from loading its' operating system. During the start up session it would present a black screen and a voice would prompt saying "System Failed CPU Test". I used to wiggle some wires inside the tower and it would load just fine.

Well last night after about an hour and a half of this issue I gave up and searched online for this error. It turns out that ASUS (my mother board creators) have had some passed problems supporting certain video cards. Since I'm thin on extra cash I decided to unplug the card and reinsert it hoping that by doing so would solve my issue. Well it did, now I was able to load my programs and go about my daily routine. So like I said before, I apologize for the absent days and I will try to be on and posting something daily.

Can you hear me now?

First Public Transatlantic Telephone Call (1927)
The telephone has come a long way since its earliest incarnation. The switches used to route phone calls, which were once electromechanical, have now been replaced by digital electronic switching systems that make features like "caller ID," "call waiting," and "call forwarding" possible. Cordless phones, cell phones, and satellite phones have also changed the way that people communicate. I can remember when my mom had a rotary phone in the kitchen. The thing weighed like 6 pounds and for some reason red was the popular color to have. At times I felt like Batman waiting for the red phone to light up when the Commish would need me to save the day. Also when calling the relatives during the holidays it felt like I was waiting in line during a huge sale right before the store opened. When calls were placed to Boston, my aunts and uncles had numbers that started with nines so by the time you got to the last number you were pretty bored watching the dial go back to the beginning. Phones have come a long way since it's birth especially when you compare the old with the new.

Nissan OneOne

The OneOne is envisioned as a sort of lovable pet vehicle. ("Won-won" is a common Japanese imitation for the sound of a barking dog.) Besides being cute, it would also be a helpful member of the family. On its own, it could go fetch some groceries or take a child to school.

The OneOne would move itself along like a skater by alternately pushing out with each of its rear wheels. At high speeds it would lean back for better aerodynamics, but at slower speeds it could "stand up" for better visibility.
I can easily see myself utilizing this bad boy for those quick beer runs during that crucial 4th quarter drive towards the end zone when you know that by leaving the house you can potentially miss a pass or an interception heck maybe even a fan running through the field. All kidding aside this concept is relly intrigueing especially the way our lives moves towards the easy and easier way of living. I give Nissan a 10 on concept and thought.

A great idea...

This father definitely gets my support 100%. He is actually finding a solution for what is currently a problem in just about any school. Columbine was a tragic event and then watching the Virginia Tech terror unfold was just enough for most parents out there. This father will not wait for some nut job to take his kid's life if something horrible was to happen at their school. Most people believe that he is cashing in on a paranoid-able situation, all I have to say is that when the children of those who don't like this idea are involved in a scenario where this pack would come in handy and all they have is a clear view of an individual with a cold heart pointing their gun at them please do not come crying afterwards saying that you should bought one because by then it will not do you any good.

Keeping Cool...

I just read about this device and although it is advertised as a nice way to keep cops cool during those long hours in the squad car I can't help but think that this would be great for those long car trips that for some reason the a/c can't reach the back section of the car right away or for the truck drivers that have older trucks and they need that extra cool breeze going down either their chest or their backs. I would probably consider getting one because my daughter usually complains that the air isn't cool enough in the back seat. Check it out, it's not a sophisticated device but it gets the job done.

Wired Homes - Living Homes...

My first reaction is WOW! If money wasn't an issue I definitely would love to own a home just like this. Watch the video and see what it is that I'm talking about.
The gentleman presenting the tour and also does the narrating goes by the name of Steve Glenn. He does an excellent job at presenting the home in a serious and yet a funny manner. Watch the entire tour and give me your opinion on the home, for those of you who don't like the open look of a home this may not interest you but for those who love a great look as well as an excellent way to recycle material please view and enjoy.

Digital Frames...

How many of you out there are like me when it comes to pictures on your office desk? You know those pictures with the frame barely standing while others have seen better days. Well I can tell you one of many things, I am going to start reorganizing my office starting with those old frames. What better way to cherish special moments and enjoy those you love then by having them light up brilliantly with a digital photo frame. That's right, upload your best photos to a flash drive and have them loop through the colorful LCD and watch the rich colors make that moment come to life. Digitalframez.com specializes in many types of digital frames and their many different sizes. If you believe that your office space is fine the way it is but you know of someone that has way too many photos spread throughout their desk and it looks like they can take advantage of this product them by all means either buy them one as a gift or direct them where to go. These digital photo frame in my opinion would make almost any office look great.

What's the darn rush for...

Watching the video for this story didn't look all that impressive until they had a camera on an over-pass watching the train come from a distance. It took the train to go under the over-pass a whole 1.1 seconds. Watch the video if you get a chance and see for yourself what I'm talking about
