During lunch I went to the CNN site to view some news that are currently displayed for today, well after about two minutes of looking I came across a video detailing fraud in marriages.
CNN's Louise Schiavone reports on an immigration scam in which investigators uncovered fake marriages. (November 14)
This other site has a little more detail on this. VDARE.com
I recall about two years ago talking to my wife about one of the problems that this country has - "Illegals". Turns out that there are huge numbers out there that are married for merely the documentation aspect of it. Louise reports that this can and may be a haven for possible terrorists. I do not know how most of you feel about illegals entering the country - but I can easily tell you that if I were to retire today I would definitely find myself joining the Minute Men group.

Are you just testing to see if I'm paying attention to what you are writing? You know we disagree on this one - for me the main focus should be on those who offer the jobs that the illegal immigrants are crossing over to get. If that were enforced it would create a natural reduction in those illegally crossing the border and make groups like the Minute men not necessary.
From a logical standpoint, until the employers who profit from using these illegal immigrants are stopped nothing's going to change.
Well that is what they're saying is "In the Works" - but until all of them are caught and punished for the employment of such illegals it would not hurt to continue to keep others from coming over. So from a true logical point get the program working and plug the hole. Otherwise it's like having a bathtub fill up with water and the answer is to install a drainging system - but it doesn't really solve the water still coming in now does it.
:)
You both have valid points.
