NFL: New Orleans 28, Seattle 17I spent the first few weeks picking the Saints because I fell for that "Let's bury last year's season and start fresh" BS and picked them to win their respected games. Well they haven't exactly been playing all that great since the season opened so I decided to not pick them yesterday and wouldn't you know it they win. The one thing I can say is that this season has had some serious ups and downs.
SEATTLE (UPI) -- Drew Brees completed 25-of-36 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns Sunday night, as the New Orleans Saints beat Seattle, 28-17. David Patten caught eight passes for 113 yards and Reggie Bush picked up 97 yards on 19 carries and gained another 44 yards on six catches. The Saints (1-4) also got a blocked field goal by Josh Bullocks. Matt Hasselbeck went 26-of-43 passing for 362 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for Seattle (3-3) -- which has dropped two in a row.
