I just spent the past hour and a half trying to get my pool up to date. The filter needed to be changed as well as the chemicals that make the pool look really sparkly. The old filter looked like it just got done filtering mud for days on end. Of the hour and a half I spent about 17 minutes scrubbing the bottom as well as the inside walls of the pool. I can tell you that the next time I hear someone crying that they want a pool I'm going to offer them a little insight of the actual maintenance that it would tak to have a great looking pool.

Ummm, you wanted the pool too and you spend more time in it than the kids.

Heck after the labor it takes to keep it clear you bet I'm going to spend more time in it then the others.
